SEO meets ESP: Planit enlists psychic marketing specialist

In the world of search engine optimisation (SEO), knowing what our clients’ target customers are searching for is vital.

We asked Planit’s head of SEO Richard Carson what the thinking was behind this bold move:

“There are over 3.5 billion Google searches every day. Organic search drives over half of all web traffic – with 68% of all online experiences beginning with a search engine.

“Those numbers are staggering. So, naturally, we spend a lot of time and research thinking about target audiences, and what trends people are following.

“But one day in a brainstorming session, one of the team asked an interesting question: ‘What if we could know what people are going to search for in a year’s time?’

“That set my mind racing. And here we are a few months later, welcoming our first seer to the team. Hazil will work alongside our SEO experts to predict upcoming trends before they’ve even been conceived, allowing us to always be one step ahead.”

Hazil officially joins Team Planit later this month, adding a new dimension to our award-winning marketing offering, but she’s already been working with us on a consultancy basis for a few months.

She said: “I’ve always known a collaboration like this was coming for me. And lo and behold, I got a call from Richard asking if I could assist the team in divining the marketing trends of the future.
