Inverness Airport Creates Shop Local Incentive for Businesses

Our friends at Inverness Airport, are offering an exciting opportunity for local businesses to get involved in. The airport has created a directory where cabin crew, pilots and other flight staff who have layovers in the city, can browse local places to eat, drink, shop, workout or get a beauty treatment with deals agreed especially for them.

The directory will be online and only visible to those eligible to access i.e. airline staff. Once logged in, the flight crew members will be able browse offers of the local businesses who have signed up.

Not only is the Inverness Airport Partner Incentive directory a brilliant opportunity to get the crew members out of their hotel rooms and get a taste of Inverness, it’s an opportunity to encourage visitors to the city to shop local. When you make the more ethical choice of shopping locally, it has a boost to the economy, you have more chance of purchasing something unique, it’s a more environmentally friendly way to spend and finally, it’s an investment into that community. Not only this, statistics show that for every £1 spent with a local, independent business, between 50p-70p circulates back into that local economy.

The offers compiled will be agreed by the businesses themselves and being part of the directory is free of charge. Businesses who would like to find out more or be part of the directory can enquire by call 07497137876 or emailing rachael@planitscotland.com.
