Planit Scotland

Celebrating Our Literary Heroines at Planit

Today is International Women’s Day, which, coincidentally, is less than a week after World Book Day. So what better way to celebrate girl power than with a trip down literary lane? And don’t worry, we’re not getting too academic… We’ve added our own Planit spin to things!

Cecilia in Planit Wonderland

“Alice had begun to think that very few things indeed were really impossible” – Alice in Wonderland

Well Alice, we couldn’t agree more, and we have a funny feeling our managing director, Cecilia would agree with you too.

Cecilia started Planit Scotland in 2014, and it’s with her infectious determination, entrepreneurial attitude, and positive spirit that she has continued to build and adapt the business, meeting the needs of her clients and the demands of an ever-changing industry.

Just like Alice, she shows that nothing is impossible, and it is a belief that she stands by when working with our clients and the whole of team Planit. For Cecilia, no project is too big or too small, and if you have an extravagant vision for your business, or a demanding campaign, then Cecilia will work her magic and prove that very few things indeed, really are impossible.

Halle & Lauren of Green Gables

“Imagination is what you need” – Anne of Green Gables

We think Anne would certainly enjoy having the creative minds of our junior content marketer Halle, and junior copywriter Lauren L, at Green Gables.

Imagination is everything to these two creatives, who both share a talent for taking our clients’ visions and making them sparkle across all platforms, whether in social content and marketing emails from Halle, or website copy and inspiring blogs from Lauren L.

Channeling their inner Anne of Green Gables, they capture the attention of their audience and bring your brand to life. With a digital toolkit that includes professional, industry approved platforms and systems, you’ll be amazed at what these girls can achieve with their clever imaginations.

The Fifth March Sister – Lauren D

“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning how to sail my ship” – Little Women

Why would we be afraid of a storm when we have Lauren D steering the ship?

The little women of Louisa May Alcott’s novel, each have their own personality. Jo March was ambitious, Meg March was responsible, Beth was quiet, and Amy was an artist.

In her role, Lauren D demonstrates each one of these qualities on a daily basis. She is as ambitious as Jo in all her endeavours, determined to find our clients the answers to all manner of questions. Like Meg, she is responsible, caring for our clients and helping them to manage their projects with Planit – a task that for many would be overwhelming, but for Lauren D, it comes natural.

She might not be quiet when it comes to her bubbly personality, but, in a similar way to Beth March, she is always quietly working behind the scenes, supporting team Planit and our clients, listening to their needs and offering a friendly ear. Which brings us to Amy, the artist of the group. And although she might not see herself as an artist, Lauren’s art is crafting Planit Scotland into a successful team there to support you and your business with all its goals.

This International Women’s Day, we are proud to celebrate the women of Planit and the work that they do. To find out more about these fabulous ladies, why not take a trip to our meet the team page?
