Planit Scotland

We Are the Champions – Hat-Trick for Planit at Highland Business Women Awards!

In the words of Frankie Valli: “Oh, what a night!”

We were honoured to bring home THREE awards from the Highland Business Women Awards: Team of the Year, Most Enterprising Business and the Business Resilience award. We were also thrilled to see our client Mikeysline bring home a well-deserved Best Third Sector Organisation trophy for the second year running.

To say it was an overwhelming experience would be something of an understatement! You can be sure we partied on into the wee hours to celebrate… which made things interesting on our speedboat tour of Loch Ness the morning after!

Planit head honcho Cecilia said: “The Highland business community and Highland Business Women as an organisation have always been incredibly supportive of Planit Scotland, so to celebrate our achievements together with so many other inspirational women in business was truly something special.

“The last two years have been a rollercoaster ride, to say the least – but through it all our team has stuck together to support our clients and each other. I’m incredibly proud of everything Team Planit has achieved during such an unpredictable time.

“We work with clients across an incredible variety of sectors – from EV charging networks to record labels, estate agents to bakeries, sawmills to distilleries. No matter who we are working with or what we are promoting, though, our team is bound together by a strong ethos – to provide support and assistance, however and wherever necessary, to achieve success.”

And now, if you’ll allow us just a few moments’ more self indulgence, we’d love to share the judges’ comments with you…

Team of the Year

“After reading this submission and the supporting evidence, I would love to work as part of Cecilia’s team. The positive, collaborative, supportive and solutions-driven culture which is within this team is evident, and the results the customers receive is truly aspirational. The leadership shown to not only adapt, but also to transform the business as a result of the requirement to work from home is also impressive. All teams should aspire to this level of quality leadership, drive and interdependence.”

Business Resilience Award

“During the pandemic, Planit took the opportunity to re-evaluate their offer. This has led to a significant increase in turnover and staffing from three to nine with further plans to expand. This is an exceptional example of resilience. Excellent feedback from clients too: ‘knowledgeable and proactive team’ and ‘best marketing agency we have dealt with’.”

Most Enterprising Business

“Cecilia has not just navigated Planit Scotland through the difficult COVID period; she has been creative, nimble, forward thinking, and brave in her business decisions. This has delivered impressive growth in turnover, people, and clients since 2019. The diversity of business sectors and geographic spread is also to be commended.”
